Questions and Answers are cited below as "Q" and "A"
1. Q: Why the question?
A: Annexed are letters of April 29, 2006 to The New York Times.
Annexed also is a summary editorial on the same subject from the same paper.
There is annexed also from the April 29, 2006 Los Angeles Times Business Section, p.1: "Dollar Slumps, Reviving Worries: Stocks gain even though the buckís recent slide lifts doubts about how willing foreigners are to invest in the U.S. Gold soars to a 25-year high,î by Tom Petruno.
2. Q: Despite the foregoing, we note from the same first page of the same L.A. Times Business Section, "Turks, Kurds Keep Ties Businesslike in New Iraq," by Solomon Moore. The headline explains itself.
"Despite tension between the ethnic minority and the government over the border, Turkish firms are eagerly investing where westerners won't."
3. Q: What is the significance of very well-informed traders in the international market, despite the failing dollar?
A: The overall significance is that this is the time when the wise, informed and honest American should look for a common mutual upward-lift in the valuation of the dollar as a factor securing the strength of Iraq.
4. Q: What about the threat to America and its allies out of Iran (former Persia)?
A: The first answer is to be sure not to call upon the President to lead us into a war with Iran. as he led us into the war with Iraq, essentially to improve his public image.
The overall answer should be, - move ahead, but with increasing care.
