Eventuating in Anti-Terrorist Direction

Q: What is the present status?
A: The answer
is in the answers to questions 7 and 8 of Plain Talk entitled “When Push
Comes to Shove.”
2.
Q: How do you make this answer?
A: Most recently, on the evening of 8/15/04 at the 25th
Anniversary of Medical Books for China International’s banquet held at the
Empress Pavilion in Chinatown-Los Angeles.
3.
Q: What happened there?
A: A banquet of
the China-Anglo intellectual and humanist elements including experts on the
subject matter as well as humanist representation, e.g. Reinhard (Ray) Prinz.
4.
Q: What accomplishments were celebrated?
A: Led by Dr.
Jordan Phillips and his wife, Mary Zoe Phillips, and in the presence of Deputy
Consul General of the Peoples Republic of China (Cai Zixian) we celebrated the
shipment over the past 25 years of approximately three million “Medical Books
for China International” of which Mary Zoe Phillips is secretary-treasurer.
The books involved were placed in all of the libraries of China.
In addition, this banquet celebrated
25 years of constant visitation with China in which the Jordan Phillips’
have been conducting regularly medical
operations of obstetrical/ gynecological surgery with the Chinese doctors as
audience.
From what I have heard about the medical libraries, –they should
include the related broad range of human
interest including scientific-economic-political and overall humanization.

Q: What is the expected consequence of the
foregoing?
A: A present
and eventual end to terrorism and related consequence of peace.
6.
Q: Will Medical Books of China International be
able to survive the inevitable expiration of
the initiating leadership, viz
Dr. Jordan and Mary Zoe Phillips?
A: The answer
to the question is under study, but not yet decided.
7.
Q: Was any part of the banquet devoted to art?
A: Very
definitely so and exhibited by a superb rendition of Tai Chi by Dr. Jiliag Hu
of Yo San University.
