Questions and Answers are cited below as
"Q" and "A"
1. Q: To what am I referring in the title of this Plain Talk
A: I am referring directly out of the front page of the New York Times Wednesday, February 23, 2005 showing photographically "Strong Quake Kills at Least 420 in Central Iran."
"An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.4 hit central Iran at 5:55 yesterday morning, killing at least 420 people and injuring more than 900. Two residents of Dahuniyeh lost their home and family when the village was destroyed, and worshipers at the local mosque were buried P.A3."
2. Q: Should other religions gloat over the fact that only Iran was hit this time?
A: (This has in mind that Iran is run mostly by Islamic true believers who only a few years ago, in the 1980s were warred upon by secular-governed Iraq which warred on Iran to avoid the practical certainty that the country run by people who believe they are blessed by divine favor, would soon war upon its secular-led neighbor Iraq.)
3. Q: Is there anything in history to show that any religion or nation is spared from natural catastrophe?
A: There is a practical certainty that whether one is a Persian (Iranian), secular-led Iraqi, (in fact governed by no religion, as Saddam Hussein) or by multiple religions including Sunni, Shiite, or by any other faith or national circumstance, whether Judaism, Christianity, (with special favor for Catholicism), Coptic Christianity as in Egypt, - there is no special favor for religion, faith or nationality.
4. What is the significance of all this?
A: If addressed realistically, - that excruciating New York Times front page photo from Wednesday, February 23, 2005, - when coupled with all history should alert mankind that they must learn to live together (without hate or hate propaganda) to avert usually totally useless war and war preparation between nations and faiths.
