It Wasn't That Serious an Election After-All

Questions and Answers are cited below as

"Q" and "A"

Well, it looks like George W. Bush won the election, but The Wall Street Journal which should know something more than most of us do, doesn't think this issue between the candidates was that serious after all.

1. Q: Why do I say this?

A: Because "Money & Investing" which is a very serious part of The Wall Street Journal, states in Tuesday, November 2, 2004 issue in Today's Marketing Forecasting by Justin Lahart, "Ahead of the Tape, Desperately Seeking Certainty": "Even more than they want to see their man ñ that would be the privileged guy who went to Yale ñ win, many traders just want to wake up tomorrow with a clear idea of who won the presidential election."

"If it is the other privileged guy who went to Yale, so be it."

Both presidential candidates are members of Yale's "Skull and Bones" secret society. Your Plain Talker also was a Yale graduate, but only of the Yale Law School. The difference between the Skull and Bones members was that George W. Bush was essentially a 'Playboy," who would not have been admitted to Yale if not for the Bush family connection.

John Kerry, on the other hand, was much more serious and an accomplished scholar.

2. Q: Can we both all relax?

A: No.

3. Q: Why not?

A: Because even Wall Street can make a mistake and the "consequences can be great indeed!"

4. Q: Are we impertinent, for taking things too lightly?

A: I think not.

5. Q: Then why do you say what you just said?

A: Because of my serious evaluation of where we are (which will be reported hereafter, as we've done before), ñwe begin with a sense of humor.
