Is History Really Written by the Victors?

Questions and Answers are cited below as

"Q" and "A"

1. Q: Why do I ask this question?

A: Because nearly half of the American electorate were for Kerry, but Bush was the victor.

2. Q: Does that mean that Bush will write the history of his administration?

A: Yes. But, it also means that history itself has a habit of rewriting itself as time passes on.

And, that re-write may actually govern the policy of the nation, in tune with the re-write.

3. Q: Viewed as history is likely to reveal the facts, as to what has really happened in connection with this election, - what will that revelation contain?

A: Much of the electorate's differences of opinion inevitably were governed in large part by the electorate's conception of what we had to do to win the Iraq War in order to extricate ourselves gracefully from what appears to be an impending disaster in Iraq.

The electorate had to consider that it might be easier to gain a graceful withdrawal from Iraq, if our forces were backed by the electoral approval of the nation.

This should convince our enemies that they are not likely to overcome us, if our nation remains united in support of our Administration.

4. Q: Why?

A: Because, our show of unity at the election was in the largest electoral turnout ever accomplished by this democracy, - so that, - for the moment, history will tend to be written by the apparent victors.

5. Q: But why, - for the moment?

A: Because the facts ultimately are likely to disclose that the Bush Dynasty in effect, wrote the script for what has occurred here.

6. Q: What do you mean?

A: That Saddam Hussein of Iraq, against whom we now warred in Iraq, - was and is essentially secular, - whereas his Iranian opposition (against whom he warred in the 80's with inconclusive results, - after the killing and wounding of millions, - were essentially then and now, Islamists. These view collaboration with secular forces as the greatest Islamists' sin.

7. Q: What does that mean?

A: Our electorate was told by the Bush administration essentially, that Saddam was our attacker in the 9/11 destruction at New York and Washington D.C., - against whom we had to defend ourselves.

8. Q: And the facts?

A: The facts show that in Iraq, we were and are warring against Saddam Hussein forces who had never attacked us.

The reality was that the 9/11 attackers were not Saddam Hussein Iraq attackers at all, but instead were the bin Laden sixty-based Al Quaeda forces.

9. Q: What does this mean?

A: It means that the President stood up on 9/11, - and thereafter, - promising immediate war against those who had just attacked us. These were only the bin Laden forces, - not Iraq forces at all, nor in cooperation with Islamists.

10. Q: Were the attackers of 9/11 Bin Laden forces only?

A: Yes. Whereas, Saddam Hussein's Iraq was not called upon to collaborate, nor did he collaborate in any way, in that successful bin Laden hijacking of American passenger planes and using the hijacked planes to destroy the Twin Towers in New York and a portion of the Pentagon in Washington, D.C.

11. Q: Are you saying that Saddam was not a collaborator with the bin Laden forces at all?

A: Not only that. But Saddam was and is essentially secular rather than Islamic or religious. Whereas, bin Laden forces were and are essentially radical Islamists for whom collaboration with secular forces would be tantamount to greatest sin.

12. Q: Do you mean then that history's ultimate exposure will reveal that the Bush Dynasty led us into an Iraq War of enormous present and future cost, and in which we, - not the people we are now warring against, - were the attackers?

A: Yes. Our Iraq War on Saddam Hussein's essentially secular forces would never have occurred, but for the Bush Dynasty. Not only that. Saddam's Iraq War was only against a portion of his own people.

13. Q: Wasn't that justification for our war against him?

A: No. Inevitably the United States does business, - without war, - with other countries run by dictators who make war on a large portion of their own people.

14. Q: Is the U.S. obliged to accept that fact?

A: Not necessarily, but probably.

15. Q: Why didn't the Democrats, as represented by presidential candidate John Kerry, bring out what you are now relating?

A: More than likely, because John Kerry, - as The Wall Street Journal stated: belongs to the "privileged," - as does Bush. Both of them, for example, are members of "Skull and Bones" (a secret society) at Yale University.

16. Q: But why didn't anyone else in position to do so, expose the true facts on the present presidential election?

A: Plain Talk did reveal this background in various of its issues.

17. Q: But, why not in a Plain Talk published just before the election?

A: Because, - at that point, with the strong possibility that Bush would succeed himself in office, - revelation of the whole background might not be consistent with the need for unanimity behind the nation's leader in an ongoing war.

18. Q: What is the nation doing now, - with fore - knowledge, - of what potential history is more than likely to disclose?

A: This momentous question will be dealt with in due course, - hopefully, - in as positive manner as possible.
