Questions and Answers are cited below as
"Q" and "A"
July 5, 2005 L.A. Times Headline: "Comet Show Leaves NASA Speechless."
1. Q: Why does the foregoing headline leave Plain Talk predictive?
A: Because it confirms the possibilities of human residences on planets beyond the one we're on. In this connection, note from the annexed "Comet Show Leaves NASA Speechless," bottom of page 1:
"Telescopes on the ground reported changes in the abundance of gases observed in the comet's corona, especially a large increase in water vapor."
That "water vapor" may suggest related use of the water in space.
2. Q: Do we need alternative places of human residence in planets beyond ours?
A: Quite probably yes. We have in mind the weapons on this planet, and the record that weapons invented ultimately will be used. We should prepare accordingly.
3. Q: What does that mean?
A: The weapons of destruction include possible radiation which would foreclose use of huge areas on earth.
4. Q: Why find alternative planetary places for human residence, if that only enables badly-intentioned humans, especially terrorists, to use their weapons on the alternative places?
A: The point is well taken. Nevertheless, we must prepare alternative places of human residence, if possible.
5. Q: Why?
A: We foresee hopefully, an eventual evolution forward. That has been the record of the evolution behind us, since the "Big Bang" 13 billion years ago.
6. Q: What is the alternative to what we suggest?
A: "Armageddon," a possibly soon-upon-us phenomenon.
7. Q: Does the foregoing suggest a bleak future for man altogether?
A: The circumstances include that possibility. We foresee an eventual evolution forward, which has been the general path of past evolution.
