Age of the "Armageddons"

Questions and Answers are cited below as

"Q" and "A"

1. Q: To what does the title refer?

A: To the fact that it is "later than you think!"

2. Q: Later than what?

A: Later than the life and death issues that are already upon us.

3. Q: What are the "life and death" issues?

A: An end to the age of endless wars that has now brought mankind to "Armageddon," - a choice between life and death.

4. Q: To what prior "ages" are you referring?

A: To what is really the evolution of ages.

5. Q: What do the prior ages include?

A: The age of the amoeba evolved until the age of the great reptiles. This ended with a meteor strike on this planet. It denied this planet and its occupants temporarily of indispensable oxygen

6. Q: What followed that recovery of oxygen on the planet?

A: Eventually, the development of man.

7. Q: Have there been further ages?

A: Yes. Eventually, the development of man, and eventually there from, the development of religions.

8. Q: Has anything taken the place of religions?

A: Yes, - more or less the age of science. Basically by the question put by Jack Webb in his 50's T.V. character, Sgt. Joe Friday, "Just the facts, Ma'am!"

9. Q: And what do those facts include?

A: In the midst of the horrendous worldwide violence, science is revealing new possibilities and benefits of life, indeed as revealing the make-up of life itself. This may determine our fate as human beings.

10. Q: What are some of those revelations?

A: The discovery of the genetic code, and such ongoing breakthroughs as the stem cell basics.

11. Q: Are there other basic roads of discovery by science?

A: Many.

12. Q: What do those facts show?

A: That notwithstanding horrendous consequences and implications of worldwide gathering violence and terror, - and notwithstanding the human-certainty of progress made available mostly through science, - we now face the practical certainty, - unless coped with in time, our fate is "Armageddon," - and death for mankind on this planet.

13. Q: In the midst of the remaining human ignorance, can you speak safely of a choice in time, between life or Armageddon, e.g., death for mankind?

A: It is in the gathering choice of life, rather than death.

14. Q: What are some signs of the choice of life?

A: The most important choice is the evident fact that this planet has become a "flat" world.

15. Q: What do you mean by that?

A: There are overwhelming signs, including out of China, India, Japan, U.S., U.K. and elsewhere, - and because of the ever swifter interchange, -none can count on evading or assuming lack of popular choice (the ultimate basis of democracy).

America is no less nor more at risk of survival by competition and instantaneous awareness worldwide of whatever the needs to be filled, and what to fill it with, than all of her competitors.

The foregoing includes the state of engineering, management and other skills.

16. Q: Why then the title "Armageddon"?

A: That is the inalienable result of incessant wars coupled with terrorism and access to weapons of mass destruction (WMD) including radiation. This means that in the very moment in which we are gifted with incredible opportunities for life, including possible even interplanetary life, we face concurrently Armageddon by failing to create and safeguard meaningful choices for peace in time!
